Gator Bait Series ...# 2 Crossing the Line... with Consequences.

Updated on February 24, 2014

Looks can be deceiving..never underestimate...

Where do you draw the line ???

It’s that time of year when I think of you....

And all the fun things we used to do...

We were young and cast our fate to the wind...

Regardless of the message that we might send..

Out to the world , cause we didn’t care...

And that’s what brings me here to share....

I thought you truly loved me...

And I believed and worshiped thee...

We shared our ups and downs together...

In thick and thin and stormy weather...

What was yours was yours and mine was mine...

And we never ever crossed that line !

I assumed it would always be just you and me...

As no one else appealed you see....

My friends said you will break my heart...

But I told them that, I was just too smart....

As I remembered what I was taught....

That no one could control my thought...

And then it happened I lost my heart....

My Bracelet, my Watch and my College ring...

And then you did that awful thing...

You lied , you cheated , you had stolen my bling...

And that’s why now you aren’t around....

Plus no way ever will you be found....

Cause I live where the Gator is king......

Like no one steals my BLING...

* this is part of a series I wrote named " Gator Bait " check the others out

thank you so much epi..I only write what I feel and if an article is really good, it's because the writer put a lot of him/her self into it..I think if that be the case we should critique/compliment etc..I enjoy your wit/sarcasm/ and your take on life and it's " QUIRKS "...glad I met you...

lovedoctor926..some people.. feel no guilt or remorse about anything..men or women..this is part of the child rearing system..many parents don't address problems as that is too much work..ignore and perhaps maybe it will go away..thus we end up with adults that don't take responsibility..it's the old what's mine is mine and whats yours is mine ALSO...have a great day...

Men often sabotage a relationship when it's going good. It's usually their fears that get in the way. In this poem, he lied, he cheated and he stole your bling. How can he face you when he knows he did wrong? Some men don't want to admit their mistakes.

You go girl! Good for you. Deception reaches the lowest point when the heart is taken for granted as well.

You a one strong hombre and I commend you for writing such a powerful (yet somewhat heart wrenching) hub.
