Dance of My Beast : A Poem

Updated on July 5, 2017

There was a storm in my head

Sent chaos to every address in my cells

Tried to fill me with typhoon of anger

Want to take me away

Shakes me hard

Woken up my beast

I held on myself tight

Inside my chest the fire had started

The drum of war already hit in the noisy rhythm

My tongue already prepared a little troop which

Arming with sharp swords and bows

Tempted me…

I stood still

I will not explode! I yelled to myself

No!

My beast laughed at me

Sang painful song to cut my sanity

Dance seductively

Her beautiful figure trapped my emotion

Flooded me with her sweet dark hypnotic words

Tried to grabbed me from myself

Over and over again

Somewhere in my heart my beloved warned me

“Don’t be angry, don’t be angry, don’t be angry!”

Raised my determination and drove me to move

I dragged that beast as best as I could

Fought her in silent, didn’t allowed her to be free

Kicked her butt back to her jail

And locked her there, I wish for eternity

I win this one, God

Please let me win the next one

And the next one

And the next one after it

Always!

Until my time is come

And my beast finally die in misery
