How amazing it is to be all alone. To be with yourself. To be with nobody and nothing else. To be away from that noisy, confusing and filthy world. To be be far far away from that dimension where romanticism and fantasy are being ignored--in that place where everybody's in pain and despair.

You may not know or even notice it but the best moments in your life are the days when you are alone because when you are alone, you are able to know yourself more, to see your spirit and soul, to learn new things about being human and to achieve peace of mind and solitude. Being with no one but yourself is like being with the one you love the most, with the most beautiful creature on Earth, with the most special and unique gem, with the most intelligent and brilliant person you could ever be with and with the one who loves you more than anything and anyone else.

What do you really want?

Have you ever asked yourself these things:

What is my purpose in life? Why am I here? Why am I in this situation? Why am I myself? Why am I hurting so much? Why can't I love myself? Why am I not being loved in return? Why am I being ignored? Why am I feeling left out?

"Don't feel guilty if you don't know what you want to do with your
The most interesting people I know didn't know at 22 what they wanted to do with their lives, some of the most interesting 40 year olds I know still don't."

--excerpt form the song Sunscreen by baz luhrmann

Some people want to be happy, to be free, to be beyond beautiful, to be a person of dignity and virtue and to be at the top of the world.

Some want to fly like an eagle, to swim like the sharks, to glow like fireflies in the night, to dance like the clouds in heaven, to sing like the mermaids and to travel faster than the speed of light.

"You weren't put on earth to be remembered. You were put here to prepare for eternity.”
― Rick Warren,Purpose Driven Life: What on Earth Am I Here For?

They want to be a person who doesn't have to follow rules, laws, principles, systems and even religion. A person with no limits. A person who is not a prisoner of faith and belief. A person who doesn't care what other people will say or think. A person of his own philosophy and ideas.

"Faith means the will to avoid what is truth."

-Friedrich Nietzsche, Der Antichrist (The Antichrist)

Don't live inside the world of others. Don't live in the caprice and demands of others. Be your own territory. Be you. Don't borrow your life to someone should be yours--yours and yours alone. Build your own life--your own world.

Why Scare Death?

Death is like a thief in the night. You'll never know why he's here or how he got here. It's just a question of when.
Death is like a thief in the night. You'll never know why he's here or how he got here. It's just a question of when.

Death--the surest thing on Earth; inevitable; strikes like lightning; wonderful like magic.

Isn't death the most amazing destination every man has? Of course, it is but everybody is afraid of it--afraid as if it looks like a demon with a reaper. But we all know the purpose of it--we die because we have to come home and go back to our Father's arms; we die because we have to remember that nothing is permanent and that everything is borrowed.

People who are afraid of death are those who do not live at all--those who do not risk and do not know how to gamble and play this game. They are the people who are cautious and living inside a sealed box. They are the ones who never get their hands in the mud.

Death is a friend, it's a solution to all the problems that the world brings, it's the answer to every confusing question, it's an escape and it's synonymous to peace. No one can tell if there is life after death, no one unless you die now and try to be born again tomorrow. It's a question of faith--a question of what you believe in. The moment it knocks on your door, welcome it with an open heart, accept it and don't even imagine that it's just a dream because it's not. It's real. It's the reality.

"If you've treated people in your life beautifully while they were alive, you will not throw yourself over their caskets screaming, "Don't go, don't go!" For goodness sakes! We don't even let people die in dignity. We let them die guiltily by screaming, "Oh, please don't die!."

--Dr. Leo Buscaglia, Living, Loving and Learning: Tomorrow's Children

Looking For Hell, My Dear?

"Hell is other people." --Jean Paul Sartre, No Exit
"Hell is other people." --Jean Paul Sartre, No Exit

With all of these sufferings, agonies, confusion, despair, wars, poverty, pain, anger and all of the negative things there are--Are you still looking for hell?

Hell is definitely not a place on Earth, it's not the core, it cannot be found on Planet Venus, not on Andromeda galaxy, not on other universes (if the theory of multiverses is right) but it is in you. You are your own hell. You make your own hell. It is your choice not someone else's.

Call him or her--the one who's on your mind right now. It's the right time to tell that person that he or she is beautiful and loved, not later or tomorrow, because if you don't, he or she will spend the rest of his or her life without knowing it.

Note: It's just a suggestion. As a matter of fact, I'm doing it right now.

Valorie, remember, if you have faith, which you apparently do, you are never truly alone - God is is always with us. And the best part of death is waking up in God's arms. Well done.

Valerie, this is awesome! I'm alone most of the time. I like spending time with me. I also agree that death is where peace lies. I must admit, tho, I'm not yet ready for all of that peace! :-)

This is very profound. Thank you for sharing your point of view.
