Dark Garden poem

Updated on November 1, 2012

Dark Garden

Dark Garden

Welcome to my garden beneath the cold dark sky.

Come and sit beside me, and tell me why you cry.

Is it because the pain of life has been to much to bare?

Or perhaps when you need some one ,they were never there.

Come and let me hold you in my garden of ice,

It is only here with me that hurt never happens twice.

Let me taste the blood of despair that covers your pale white lips.

Feel the gentle touch of comfort from my fingertips.

Allow me to close your weary eyes, and rock you quietly to sleep.

Release your restless spirit, your anguish is mine to keep.

Welcome to my garden where dark roses bloom.

A place haunted by fear, where long shadows loom.

Come into my arms, I can relieve your torment in one silent breath.

Surrender yourself to me, I am known as death.

You weren't kidding on your profile when you said you write dark poetry. You do and you do it so beautifully. This is another wonderful example. I do hope you publish more here. Voted up and awesome.
