Dark Stormy Night

Updated on November 23, 2013
Source

My love is so passionate ..it fills you with fright

My love is dark clouds ...

on stormy night

My love surges through you

like lightning....

strong and bright

My love is tender...

while holding you tight

My love is softness..like birds in flight

My love is yours..

keep it right next to your soul..

.with all your might

Dear Michael~if there was a poet's guide to beautifully and moving poetry, yours would be it. Your heart always comes out in your work and you give us the honor to see and feel it. God Bless and Happy New Year-Almost :-)

What a beautiful profession of love. Everyone could use this to show their lover how they feel. You also pick the best pictures!

      Voted up, awesome, and beautiful.

Marlene .. I think this doctor humor..??

I know.. just to have you visit me with a house call ...is a healing force

      now let me pay you...

the lovely doctor came to visit me

she was a sight so beautiful

and so pretty and to see

      now my heart

      beats hard and strong

      hoping the doc stays

      around me so long

Thanks Michael for your kind words. I'm glad that you haven't forgotten the Doc. Lol. I'm going to write you not one, but two prescriptions for your throat. Hope you make a speedy recovery. lol.

Doc to Patient: Say aah, now put out your tongue. As patient sat with mouth agape, doc wrote 2 prescriptions. DOC: Ah yes, that's fine, you may close your mouth now. Doc gave Michael the prescriptions. NURSE: You didn't even look at his mouth, let alone examine his tongue or tonsils. DOC: Its nice to have a little peace and quiet when I'm writing out prescriptions!

Love is so many things. I love the way St. Paul expresses it in I Corinthians 13. Your poems says it so well, it's delightful, and such a great image, too.

Beautifully written and expressed as to what encompasses all that is love ...clinging tightly through those dark storms in life with the key being never letting go! Always love your choice of imagery ...perfect with your poetic words. I am sorry you are not feeling well. I will pray that changes soon for it hurts my heart when a friend is not well. Blessings to you and yours for a wonderful Thanksgiving and every day throughout the year, Faith Reaper

the darling Doctor ..pays me visit .. I actually haven't been feeling well my lovely doctor... I think it is because of not being able to read your lovely writes and give you ..my sweet flower Marlene...some words to warm your tender heart... and make you think of me ..

please write me a prescription that soothe my soul.. tenderly put your soft hands upon my forehead and tell me you will return more often..

Love you still ...and miss you terribly..

thank you Jackie .. the Belle of the south..

you are making me blush ..

I hope your tender heart finds the love you deserve ..

your heart is a treasure ...

to be kept safe and locked deep ...

      within the man..

      who is lucky enough

      to hold it's soft tenderness

      yet admire it's sturdy dedication

      to the Lord

      and the beauty of life..

      God bless you Jackie

it is a universal thought .. subject to the one who fills your heart with it..

read it to the one(s) you love and they will know it comes from your soul ..

Gorgeous picture and poem. Love really is so many things, endless words and emotions. Been awhile since I wrote about it but still love to read it and none better than you Michael.

Oh man this was great. It is my love for my wife. I will read this to her.

But I must say I was immediately caught up with the title because we had a wonderful and rare stormy night last night and my boy and I held each other and watched the lightening and heard the thunder and stepped out to feel the rain on our skin.

Perhaps it is more my son's prayer for me. Thank you for reminding me of my blessings and letting me leave this earth within your thoughts to a very nice place.
