Deanna A Lovers Love Note

Updated on July 20, 2012

Dear Love

Source

From Deanna

My Darling Love;

"I don’t have the guts to tell you to your face

I’m acting like a coward and writing it down

Doesn’t matter much you know I’ll be gone

I’ll hide this letter in the same place I hid my tears

I was hoping that we could read it to night

It would mean that I have got my act together

This seems like a distant dream

But how I do hope, it will come true one day

This letter will go down with my house

I mean it will crash and burn

Supposed that’s a fitting end

To a life that had never begun

There’s no way you will find it

Unless God intervenes

The life that I had

Was so far out nowhere to be seen”

Now Deanna didn’t know what to do

Her life was a mess you see

As she tossed the paper on the floor

With disgust she knew it wasn’t meant to be

“You were right about one thing love

You were too far gone to turn your life around’

The need for speed was real bad

The last straw was the drugs “

Provoked to insanity

When loves dies

Through its calamity

Pain behind her eyes

To bend with reality

This was the agony

This was the pain

This was the death

Waiting to go insane

Feeling like she could blow away

Easy as a feather she knew

Turning her body

Black and blue

Tears as black

Do you Believe

Believe in the possibility

Strong enough

Living in white and marble

No matter the endless to achieve

Her heart

Wanting her life back

That is just as dark

Angels Hand

Source

As she looked up she saw an Angel fly

Dancing and prancing

In the nights sky

Where time and space

Meets for eternity

A hand stretched out

It was a wondrous illusion

All was directed

Knowing is not a confusion

With electric delusion

The fog

Source

As the fog came crashing in

In the space and time

As too repeat the same mistakes

From whence it came

A new choice point

To create a new

Evolutionary creation

And called it humanity

The choice is hers to make

As she wrote the lovers note

As she thought

Dear Love!

“From childhood’s hour I have not been, as others where, I have not seen, as others saw.” Edgar Allen Poe

Deborah: very profound...I could feel the emotion throughout. Excellent writing and I felt so very sad. Loved the part about the angel.

Reading this made me think hard about the choices we make in life, and where each one of us is headed. The secret word is choice.

      Voted UP. Blessings, Sparklea

You have the talent for making make believe a reality. I felt the dread, the hurting, the loneliness, bitterness all wrapped into ones soul. I know of some of these feelings, they are not pleasant. To come out of the darkness and into the light is not as easy as some may think. You quoted Poe perfectly.

And thus from my own childhood I was not as other's saw. Thankfully I survived and am here now to write about my past. You my friend shared beautifully here, regardless of whether it was fiction or fact, the imagery embedded itself in my senses. Voted Up awesome, beautiful and brilliant.
