Decluttering Poem by Shonah Milne Melton

Updated on April 25, 2016

Free Poetry by Shonah Milne Melton - Decluttering Poem..... fun.... inspirational.... dedicated to a special group

I rush home from work,

And act like a jerk,

Cooking and cleaning,

I feel like screaming!

No stopping to breathe,

I quietly seethe,

No help around,

No peep, no sound,

Except my banging,

And murmuring clanging.

I feel unloved and all alone,

All because, I don't have a slow home!

So I tackle a drawer,

Each day a little more,.

Encouragement I get,

Whenever I fret,

From the group I adore,

Who pick me up when I fall.

With advice and cheer,

They really are quite dear,

So I thank you all,

For a wonderful ball,

While decluttering my life,

With minimum strife.
