Defying Logic

Updated on April 4, 2012

(This is an excerpt from my book)

And I've always wondered how it would feel to break the rules of logic.

One is never made by adding two, expect when it comes to me and you. The world is full of things we cannot explain :

You are my exception

To everywhere I was going

Because in you there are no rules.........

There are no places I could ever call home, that I didn't find with your hand in mine.. [together]

And suddenly I can comprehend the true length of forever

And I've always wondered

How it would feel to break the rules of logic and truly understand........

Often logic is an artifice so it would be a mistake to adhere to it too rigidly! It's "rules" are set up like inches on a a ruler, or numbers on a clock - as measurements or standards from which to deviate! So breaking them makes nothing but sense!! If one is in metric measure - inches are useless! Or if one is using a sun dial, clocks are useless. - and vice versa. And in universal terms, they're all non-existent!

      I like this.
