Delirious Future

Updated on December 16, 2017

Delirious future, a future at all

Look back through my mind

Searching for whatever I'll find

I’m staring so deep you thinking I’m blind

But I’m so distant hoping for a rewind

This life, why this life

The irony in what we make our wife

I’m troubled, my soul yearning for the light

Lived, grew and just wish life was a little bright

My heart is hurting but beating through all this pain

Played my way through this game

And like a champion, I've won the fame

For the bad; now I'm hoping for a better name

Lord help me, the struggle for a better ending

Lord grant me, the strength for a different laugh

Lord guide me, the walk on a new path

A sigh onto life, a tear from my eyes, that’s how I’m ending
