Depressions' Deepest Sadness - poem

Updated on December 17, 2010

Saddness is a part of every persons life. However, some of us experience sadness to the extreme of lasting depression. These writings are expressed at dark times in my life and are my best way of describing the world as it's played over in my head.

Finished

Drip.................

drop...............

drip...........

drop.........

drip......drop....drip...drip..drip......

And so it goes on...

Or should I say ends...

It just couldn't stop pushing,

And so she finally bends.

A head full of reasons...

A heart full of pain...

The razor giving the answer,

And the blood like drops of rain.

"Some will be hurt", she thinks.

At the same time, most will be relieved....

"Your right", she cries,

"How could someone like me be grieved?"

Tired of failing....

Tired of never being enough...

Tired of pain....

Tired of life being so rough...

Enough of the memories....

Enough of the tears....

Enough of hiding...

From foolish childish fears.

The cut grows ever deeper,

And shes too sad to stop...

The razor falls to the floor,

Drip....drop...drip..drop.
