What are these desert winds, moonlight and magic ?

Updated on April 16, 2014

Maybe its the warmth in the desert wind tonight
or the flesh caressing magic of the shadows of moonlight .
Maybe its the echo of and the peaceful lilting of
the distant Navajo flute .
Or could it be the way the sand touches
my bare forearms on this darkening breeze ?
Making me wish for the pleasure of
female company.
Right here
right now .

Or maybe it's because this isn't my home
but simply a place to visit
where my vivid and ever open
imagination is sparked by
The magic of the desert night
or of mysterious manhood
and the ever present thought
of something new to see
or to do
or to touch

Whatever it is ....I now believe in magic

Eric , You had a gifted experience living there ! I cannot imagine the experiences , I also understand the incredible aloneness , even there in such beauty ! I suspect though that we are alone only in our own minds , people love ya man !...Ed

Oh yes Ed and I also believe in magic; a wonderful verse and voting up. Loved it and wishing you a wonderful day.

I do not know exactly where you were in your wonderful words, but it brought home to Navajo land along the Grand Canyon rim. And it reminded me that I am very much alone when there.

      Thank you friend.
