Difficult to Love

Updated on December 16, 2017

My love, my love...

I came across her, got to like her and fell as well

I fell too deep and got hurt and it feels like hell

I used to think you the angel I see when there's darkness

The wisdom I'd beseech in all my madness

But you tear me apart from within I placed you regardless

In the hardest way I've learnt you simply human which I'm no less

I know there is more to unveil behind the blindness

Than there is to recover in this lost world of emptiness

Now I'm just wishing we could stop

Or deafen our ears to the ticks of the clock

All this ups and downs we keep riding

The troubling tides we keep sailing

Our thoughts and emotions that we hiding

This weak foundation we keep building

How often do we actually think it through

To speak from our hearts what we feel and what's only true

Time to come all this comes crashing down

Who then will deserve the most frown

Must admit I certainly hate this crown

Just don't feel right looking like a clown

And im still here, thinking of her, a real meaning to insanity

The wound been healed but the scars remain, not trying

to be a hero really
