Distant- A Poem

Updated on January 13, 2013

Distant

You lied not once, but twice

And thrice you shamed me

Your distance has grown

With the distinction you own

The love is above us

And the gap has just grown

The tie that binds

It unwinds

The strength wears and the bond tears

I'm wrong cause I still long for you

Even discreet

It still won't be sweet

Because it was more before

Now it's less, but I guess

I'm just here alone
