Skin Deep

Updated on December 20, 2016
Embrace the woman that you are.
Embrace the woman that you are. | Source

Every hour

She checks the mirror

Wondering if something has changed

Maybe less of a millimeter of a wrinkle under her left eye

Maybe a portion of a portion of a cm. of a cm. less gut

Or maybe a positive

Just maybe

Something has enhanced

A better cup size

And rounder bottom

Thighs that shrunk just a little

So just maybe before too long they won’t rub together

She crosses them

But not enough

Not for herself and

Not beautiful enough to

Other women either

Not to her

Almost every woman’s got something she wishes she had

Damn her hair is cute

Maybe I should cut mine

Damn her hair is tight

I think I’m finally gonna go head and let mine grow

Shoot, look at her booty

I wish mine looked like that

Yesterday my feet were too big

Today my hips are too big

Tomorrow they only had those heels in a 9

Those would be so sexy on me I wish I wore a 9

I bet my butt would look nice in these

That was a interesting poem, you have spoken a truth about the women who are too conscious about their looks.
