Doctor Doctor Tell Me the News

Updated on February 3, 2008

Here comes the doctor

Here comes the nurse

Here comes the lady with the alligator purse

Please arrive early

Don't be late

Arrive early and tell me why ?

The computer says "Who am I " ?

My history is there..they can't find it

They've lost me Ohhh Nooo

Come step on the scale

Sit here..we will be right with you

Sit wait..wait sit

My butt is tired

I want to go

Read all the posters

Blow my nose

Wash my hands

Maybe they forgot me

Should I go ? No sit

Hello.."how are you"?

Well let's check

Blood pressure...fine

Lungs sound great

Why are you here?

You told me to come back

To follow up my illness

Well let's see here

What was the problem?

As the laptop chatters

And the doctor can read..aloud

Oh I we go

Well let me look?

And are you in any pain?

Does it seem better to you?

Well good..seems better to me

Let me see you again in a week

Come early and don't be late.

There goes the doctor

There goes the nurse

There goes the lady with the alligator purse.

At any rate here in America's small community, like mine it seems a waste of time......

Funny, and so true. Laughter is a good medicine, and I feel better. I hope you do, too.

I lived next to a lady that took care of her 94-year-old mother. My mother died at 44. Please make sure you get relief as needed. Betty Jo
