Don-de-Dora

Updated on May 9, 2012

Into the village I walk as God
Children of the Holocaust
I bring the flowers by breech of war
And as God I walk no more
They broke my limbs in vice and brace
To find that I could not trace
To ride upon the elephants
A beast the knows no circumstance
Le-lo-le-lo
Oh Don-de-Dora
Oh Utopia Le-lo-le-lo

Like a princess in a jar
Locked in a cell in Zanzibar
And with me I did take a sword
To free me from my astral cord
As the mighty Joan-of-Arc
At the stake did burn my heart
Le-lo-le-lo
And a lark up in the trees
He sang this song to comfort me
Le-lo-le-lo
Oh Don-de-Dora
Oh Utopia Le-lo-le-lo
