Don't Forget You Were A Child Too

Don't Forget You Were A Child Too

I dream for the day
For my kids a life change
To see their true potential grow
Erase from their face the disappointment and pain
And the looks of disdain they receive for playing in the dirt and the rain or their sticky candy fingers and the energy they can't contain
You were once a child yourself
Yet how fast most forget now that is quite insane
