Dove of the Morning

Updated on October 16, 2009

My queen tis been years since I've seen

Your angelic face silken colored whey

vibrant and moving as the moon's shimmering ray

Delicate and flowing hair color of red

sweeps away the dull illusions of dread

Inspiring the harpist to an elegant strum

awakening my spirit in sacred freedom

Eyes flowing from the cradle of Love

Wholesome and graceful as the morning dove.

My heart has yearned,

and burned in the passing of time,

In my mind I still see you dance

with the delicate wind at your feet

movement in graceful time balanced on elegance peak

Oh, what fun we had down by the lake

crimsoned sunsets fulfilling the mood

the white swans singing a majestic interlude

of the sweet joy between me and you

again now we bid adieu.........
