I had a dream
and in it they
weren’t wanting to leave
And there I was stuck.
They threw mean
gestures upon my every
rapid request of their departure,
That was quickly followed by
a muscle spasm in thy chest..
Awake but unable to wake!
Their mouths movie’s
contort and twitch.
Then thy begged for thee passing
but the baby’s cold one says
And all too hungry I assume.
Their eyes in mine are
blotting out the heart's Sunshine
My throat and face
burn in anxiety
And on into my
breathing thinking arguing
loving sad mad twisted broken
straight fixed confused construed
waking reality of life and prepare
For the when and if I awake after
My next first good night’s sleep.
