Dreams Of Paradise (poem)

Updated on July 12, 2015

It brushed upon the shores of paradise

As here resided dreams of lovers two

It promised that their love it could renew

And all things yet to come make more precise

-

And streams of sorrow would no longer strew

A pathway made for kisses to entice

All this and more was placed at their devise

They only had to wish to make it true

-

They gazed forever into longing eyes

They passed forever in familiar arms

They faced forever never losing trust

-

No words were written yet for their replies

Forevers reawaken to such charms

To change two dreams as these would be unjust
