Dreams of Dreamers (poem)

Updated on June 1, 2012

The time will come for dreams to close their eyes

When all their hopes are thoughts of yesterday

And every song a kiss from far away

Their magic moments raining from the skies

-

Amid those Joyous streams of once was they

Were heavens walled in wonder and surprise

Kept kisses for the seasons which arise

Twas here they found a shelter from dismay

-

The time may come when teams of shadows call

Each chasing eating beating dreams aside

The tears of years become their Joyous stream

-

Amid those times when seams of reason fall

And passions yield to waning of the tide

But until then let’s close our eyes and dream

Beautiful, the words flow and I like that in a poem.

Dreams are pieces of life done in another mode.

You end this sonnet in perfection. My hat off to you. Jamie
