Episodes of Darkness

Updated on June 3, 2013

Let’s face it; Life is not always bright and gay.

In fact it is full of confusion and gloom;

Lots of those we dread are the ones that are in our immediate situation;

We try to cope and try to shine to fade the shadows away;

No effort is needed to be in the dark; you’re just there.

But to shine and to be in the Light requires constant and consistent alertness and assertiveness.

Following are some expressions of my darkest moments; I entitle this “Leave Me Alone!”

Leave me alone!

Don’t tell me you care for me

All of you!

Don’t ask me where I had been and what I had been doing;

Why do I have to explain defensively, you don’t believe me anyway!

You cannot and won’t do what I want, why should I?

I cannot tell you that I had gone to meet the Devil in Hades;

It’s not fun to be with him but his proximity is everywhere;

You can access him any moment any place.

I should have desired to be in the glorious throne of the Heavenly King;

I should have loved to hear the voices of angels singing their Hallelujahs to the Universal Power and the Almighty!

But it’s too far away, I even have no idea where it is and can it be real?

Ha-ha, foolish people, foolish me!

I don’t care anymore; I don’t care about anything;

Leave me alone in my miseries;

Stop adding insults to my injuries.

Forget me if you will;

Remind yourself that I don’t exist and never had been in your life.

Let me be a wanderer in the limbo of this so-called life of the living dead!

      Hi James-wolve

      I appreciate your dropping by. You're right; the unhappiness of being alone is loneliness but the unhappiness being with someone untrustworthy pierces the depths of the soul, being feeling betrayed. It is agonizing and really hurts.

      Strong message here. It's better to be unhappy alone than unhappy with someone so far.

      Hi Ericdierker,

      Thanks for the visit and the comment. The darkness makes us long for the light and once the light appears we value it more than before we had gone to the darkness of the present moment.

      God Bless.

      For some reason i have always found solace in dark moments. I must see the beauty there also. Nice work.

      BlossomSB,

      Thanks for that comment. Acknowledging and writing down our dark moments is one learning process by which if we did learn our lessons from such dreaded moments we come back to the Light refreshed and having new outlooks and perspectives in life.

      God Bless you too.

      Dark moments are not fun, but usually we are blessed and they do remain only 'moments' until we come back to the Light. You have expressed your dark thoughts quite forcibly and very well. God bless you.
