Heavenly Domain (a poem of inspiration)

Updated on September 9, 2015
Heavenly domain...
Heavenly domain...
That beyond the realm of man...
That beyond the realm of man...
Invitation to the stars...
Invitation to the stars...
infinite wonders...
infinite wonders...
Heaven's gaits...
Heaven's gaits...
skies of wonder...
skies of wonder...
Greatest of all treasures...our universe...
Greatest of all treasures...our universe...
Magnificent presentation...
Magnificent presentation...

Universe...home, womb of the earth.. its open bloom of stars, their galactic realm,

Mother and father, united as one, until infinity is run...Noble creator at the helm.

Meteoric heights, in day and darkest nights...your splendid sights, us to overwhelm,

No words define or praise you.. best adjectives, so due, as those of St.Anselm.

Heavenly enigma...marvelous conundrum, mysteries beyond our contemplation,

Brightest Kaleidoscope...swirling galaxies...forever increasing, your grand gyration.

Subject of dreams...of fantasy, it so seems...explosive...ignited by all's speculation,

Superb conglomeration...your miraculous reformation...an incessant manifestation.

Universe of our fathers, their's before...with our simple tools, knock on your door,

Star formations of the ages, how we plot our course, a fine blueprint of its stages,

Your treasured secrets, shared by visitors, friends...how our venture ends, its score,

How the spirit of human kind...its never ending quest...not to rest, forever engages.

Heavenly domain...your inviting arms , incessant allure, as an RSVP, to its grand tour,

The earthly brain, as if to be insane...drawn to your magnificence...your all, to procure.

Beyond the veil...hidden vistas await, ours, just to traverse your gait...intentions pure,

Our visual expectations, great...we can hardly wait...its achievement, if we may endure.

As one solar system succumbs...a new one is reborn...to take its place, not to be forlorn,

Just as the common man... who dwells upon the earth...lives much the same, from birth.

Exists to fruition...then in body, passes on...never the spirit, to be gone, nor this to mourn,

Oh, Mighty universe...with no true measure of your girth, greatest treasure, in your worth.
