Easter (Haiku Inspired)

Updated on April 24, 2013
He is risen.
He is risen.

Two Easters

Celebrate Easter,

Said the store manager's sign.

Find some Easter eggs,

Hidden by the bunny, fine..

The Savior cries,

While from heaven, he does see.

The righteous ones pray,

As saved ones are now sin free.

Yes, there seems to be the real and the fraudulent. This is a travesty and a product of those who benefit from the goodness, and make something false of it. whonu

I felt compelled to write about this subject and how it has been exploited by some. whonu

Thank you -- Easter is about Jesus! I've often thought that the Easter bunny is a marketing tool, invented to sell lots of candy and clothes. That's why I no longer buy candy at Easter, and attend the sunrise service, where no one cares if you wear jeans.
