Ebb Tide - Poetry and Photography
Patiently watching as the sun goes down
Reflecting broken skies
into fire-orange brushes;
Naming coloured clouds
Exuding shapes, forming differently
we sat leaning dependently
You on my shoulders and I on yours.
The waters shyly retreated
To where they hid, we always wondered;
An ebb tide giving us a welcome mantle
Stepping and leaving
into the warmth of fine, soft gray mud;
From end to end silently strolling
Hand-in-hand, foot sailing against
the vanishing clear waters
Always was an air filled with
Back to calmness
My empty body faked unconsciousness
Freeing its soul to wander the singing sands
of what was once
a beautiful time of an ebb tide
So tranquil, so serene
when your feet set prints next to mine.

- Thief of Hearts (a Poem)
This is a poem I wrote in 1992, October 24 when young love was budding, spending secluded times in my bedroom with my diary, a pen and the outpouring of feelings.
- Behind Bars (a Poem)
A short poem I had written in 1992 which was actually inspired first by this photo found from a magazine...and words just flowed...
- Like a Candle in the Dark
