My heart starts beating faster,
My breathing is getting steeper.
As the butterflies grow stronger,
My heart falls ever deeper.
You smile softly at me,
Embracing me with your eyes.
I feel my cheeks turn red,
As my body temperature begins to rise.
Starting to draw near to you,
And find the words to say,
Is harder than you know,
When you look at me that way.
Our eyes begin to dance,
Looking so deep into each other.
As if no words are needed,
To communicate with one another.
An embrace so sought after,
Yet so few ever find.
I get so lost in you,
As these thoughts run through my mind.
My eyes begin to close,
And your sent fills the air.
I wrap my arms around you,
And run my fingers through your hair.
Taking in this moment,
Never wanting to let go,
Wishing it could last forever,
This feeling I got to know.
Your fingertips brush my sides,
As you let go of me.
And when you look back,
I wonder what it is you see....
