Stolen Emotion

Updated on January 26, 2012

The Wait

Emotion.... it's just a word, until it's gone

to me.... its more than that

once I knew I lost it

my heart was.... crushed flat

Somehow you were taken

my Emotion... stolen away

I still search for you Emotion

all over...... to this very day

You were there for me Emotion

when....... I touched my wife

You were there for me Emotion

when I was full of strife

when you come back... Emotion

only then...... is my search done

I will feel you again Emotion

When.... I find a new someone.

The emotional stone is heavy

.......carry it all we must

some of us don't think about it

it's always there..... we trust

Isn't the emotionless state odd - liberating and sad at the same time.

I agree with numbeddown...feeling liberated and sad all at the same time.

@ G, You the man. Thanks for the comments, greatly appreciated. Sometimes they just come out.

@numbedown, to be liberated and sad is an odd combo. Thanks for reading my work.

@ Rachel, I wondered what the feeling was that made me write this. I think it was more sadness then liberating,

Thanks for the comments glad you like my poetry.
