Enchantment Waits (poem)

Updated on April 21, 2014

Enchantment waits a tender timeless call

As fragrances of evening set the stage

For fantasy to lay down one more page

And dreams to cast soft music for it all

The heavens wait a moment to engage

To let its veil of splendor’s starlight fall

That every mist of moonlight will enthrall

Till wishes are impossible to gauge

Yet marvel waits some treasures to fulfill

Some essence which will make this all complete

Two hearts which have forever to discern

For only us such richness can distill

Was why all this had fated us to meet

Eternity is waiting our return
