Enigma of someone

Updated on May 27, 2016

The enigma of someone’s acts lies within,

A cause, like an arrow poisoning a wound,

Drawing a different smile after healing the skin,

You lose track of the pain, yourself gets marooned,

You start to act differently, could be more happily,

In front of everyone, or could be more aggressively,

Time flies by and you stop dwelling on the past,

There’s a new version of you that everyone knows,

Deep inside a mass breaks a balance so vast,

But you never reveal to anyone the poison throes,

Nonetheless, time doesn’t heal the flesh beneath,

And the secret to the enigma is left to bequeath.
