Ethos, Pathos, and Logos... the Human Traits (Haiku)

Updated on August 31, 2014
Honoring the Greeks
Honoring the Greeks
Our lives are intertwined.
Our lives are intertwined.
Each purpose driven life.
Each purpose driven life.
We are all connected.
We are all connected.

Humanities Guide

Unique human traits,

Ethos...credibility.

Others think of us,

Ones own gentility.

Pathos...our feelings,

Just how we each empathize.

A shared emotion,

Never, we to criticize.

Logos...our logic,

Directing thoughts of others. .

Persuading our friends,

All our sisters and brothers.

Lessons from the Greek,

Guides for communication,

Provides rules we seek.

For every presentation.

Ethos, Pathos and Logos are familiar words, but I didn't know they were Greek. You made it easy to understand these words with this nice poem you made.
