Ever Have One Of Those Days When Nothing Goes Right

Updated on August 2, 2013

Listen To Your Elders And Learn

You woke up tired because your wife coughed all night

You tossed and turned and couldn't sleep

Looking in the mirror you have bags under your eyes

That simply won't go away

All of a sudden you have a cramp in your left foot

So you begin to cringe

You try to shake it off

It's no use

Losing your balance you fall and hit your elbow

Right on the funny bone wouldn't you know

You let out one big yell

Feeling more pain than you are already in

A caring next door neighbor comes to help

He is hard of hearing and his eye sight isn't that good either

How's your foot asks the small elderly man

It's not my foot

It's my elbow that hurts

Sorry to hear about your wife

You know your wife is full of surprises

I was with her last night

The young man became extremely angry

The old man continued to talk

What a set of lungs on her

Last week five guys and I couldn't keep up

That's it

I don't care you are an old man

So the young strong and well built hansome fella

Threw a punch

The old gentleman ducked and popped the young man right in the nose

He bobbed and weaved

Then swung again and punched him directly in the eye

To be continued.....

There is more to the story but every time I try to save it.I go back to my earlier draft

I am trying to fix the problem.

Thanx for having patience while I figure out why?

      Hi dream-on.

Suppose , it's genuine story. Suppose, " You " men you, isn't me 'you ' the one who is reading . If that "you" would be me you, my wife would not be coughing all night. After a few minutes, it would be eliminated one way or the other. We do not tolerate any strangers in our home, easy taking care off... Being a " believer " suppose the rest of happening is true. Why in the world you engage yourself into so many activities early morning ? I wouldn't do that, I'll do better planing and come out with happy ending. Well , if that's a way of learning by experience , often is good to know what not to do the way it has been done previously.. .

Anyway, congratulations. Hope , your neighbor is OK.

      H'm . Interesting.
