Every Serial Killer Has A Beginning

Updated on September 3, 2014

The Kissing Was Sweet

What could be the harm?

His insanity would shout,

it was going to be a hard pill,

he was going to make out

with the woman he was about to kill,

he felt warm in her arms,

pressing lips against lips,

he did not resist,

he had a choice,

her tongue was inviting,

her lips moist,

guilt grew,

so he slowly withdrew,

her lips found his again,

more exploratory, more daring,

she continued without caring,

not realizing under all the hot breath,

she will come face to face with death,

a lassitude enveloped him,

there was so much heat,

the kissing was sweet,

then a moment of insanity came,

he wasn’t in it for pleasure,

he was there to inflict pain,

she froze,

his emotions rose,

his eyes frightening

and the fingers around her neck, tightening.

Eyes to Eyes They Met

The emotions and intensity would rise,

she stared at him,

bewilderment still ablaze in her eyes,

and only on the inside, she cries,

the rope singed swollen flesh

at her ankles and wrists, still fresh,

only worsened by her futile attempts

to loosen the restraints,

only the ghosts could hear her complaints,

then eyes to eyes they met,

and it was her gaze

that flashed a threat,

her strength would not bend,

and the courage stayed with her

right to the very end.
