Everything Fades At The End Of The Day

Updated on December 29, 2013

Move with the moon
grapes on your lips
champagne that never leaves you blue.
It's true the things they do
cancel the revenge
forget the sin.

Move with the sunlight
feel golden rays of warmth embrace
trace the lines of your complexion
nothing is your fate
agree with nothing that brings hate
soft scars mend
voices sing love instead

Move with the waves
balance yourself on the arms of love
Angels always read your mind
Listen for the way seagulls fly
innocense under the moon
street lamps illuminate your fragile life.

Move with the wind
blow away what taints your skin
paper dolls fold, float across horizon
everything fades when the day ends.
