Evil Left.... To Linger Far Too Long.

Updated on February 26, 2010

What's Wrong With This Picture?

Viciously

at age 19

he beat, raped

then strangled

2 college girls,

with shoelaces.

Forcing his

disgusting girth

on them,

by the cowardly power

of his ham hock fists

against women

much weaker.

and then

squeezing,

binding and knotting

the life out of someone's

two precious daughters

so that his

putrid acts

would not

be discovered.

Take a

twisted moment

in your own

healthy mind,

and put yourself

in one of these

victims places

sweaty, obese

man grabbing you

pummeling you,

to a daze

and then breeching all

that a woman

deems sacred.

Then imagine him

strapping shoelaces

crisscrossed around

your neck and cutting

off all of your air

until you stop kicking

and struggling

and weeping for what

he is stealing

and just fade away

forevermore.

He died peacefully

at age 41 executed

on a comfortable gurney,

just one small prick

much like his own

was stuck in his meaty

well fed flesh,

pumping toxins

long overdue while he

spent his last minutes

uttering foul obscenities,

then tapping his fingers......

and fading forevermore.

It took 22 years between

2 left breathless forever...

and this maggots

final breath exhaled.

What's wrong with that picture??

The earthly punishment didn't fit his other-worldly crime!

Ah, the message of the poem is heavy on the chest! Thank God the rapist is gone. Thanks for this poem and all the other poems you published almost hour after hour this week. You're an unbelievably prolific writer!
