yes, it's that time again...

Exams and final exams;

Here we go again.

Why is it so important to take them?

Why is it so important that teachers/professors give them out?

We aren't going to remember the material later on anyway.

Why you ask?

Because we don't need it.

These exams are just a waste of our time.

We just needed the credit hours;

Only JUST to graduate this year.

Sigh. Exams.

It's that time again.

Back to the old grind of cramming;

Trying to understand that material that we sort of learned

At the beginning of the semester.

It really seems pointless to refresh our memory again.

But, as it is needed, it must be studied.

We must graduate this semester.

It is high time we did.

So how will we study for them?

We will take one day at a time and study each course

From head to toe;

From top to bottom, studying, practicing problems,

Or just whatever works.

We must be determined to do well on these exams.

Hopefully the grades will be improved

And the exam taking skills will have improved

(Ah if only there was a way to do that in 10 days)

So that, not only will we pass the exam,

But we will do very well on the exam.

Only determination, hard work, luck, and perhaps,

With help from above will things go our way.

      @zzron: Yes, professors want to make sure we have understood what they have taught us (and to see if we have studied). I am seriously going to try to retain the information, but honestly I know I'm not going to need it later.

      @Debby: Yes, I understand. Thank you!

      Thanks for stopping by!

      Dear Riaha ~ I hear your lament. Everyone has to go through it. You'll pass with flying colors. Stick your nose in the books and build up some confidence. Blessings, Debby

      Very interesting. To answer your question, why we must take exams? Seems to me the exams are the summary or the key points of the information studied. Hopefully, by passing the exam you are learning and retaining the information for future use. Whether you need or use the information in the future is irrelevant. Chances are you will need it at some point, and if that is the case then the information is already in your memory and can be recalled at any time.
