Expanding And Even Expanding More

Updated on August 12, 2017

What Is Our Potential ?

Where do we begin?

There is no perfect time or place

It doesn't matter as long as we try

For once letting our fears go bye bye

I would love to unlock my secret passion

To find the door that leads me to the far beyond

I know in my dreams I have been visiting there many times

When I awake the wonderful place slowly escapes

So as I come to my senses

I think of what to do next

Then I keep building on it each day that follows

Like a bird bringing little by little over to add to her nest

No one ever said it was going to be easy and quick

I never found that a problem

I know I can do it

As the years slip away faster than the stars on a foggy night

I will attempt another approach

Pretending that I am not chasing a dream no more

Feeling that I hold in my hand that beautiful butterfly that floats gently with ease

Not to capture it and watch it get away

But to be together for this moment

Seeing and feeling what it means

Now as the butterfly leaves and goes on its journey

I too have learned from my dearest friend

To ride on air and go everywhere

My mind always wanted to be

Now I leave my troubles behind

Going where I never knew I could go

Gypsy Rose Lee Our greatest thoughts could be the dreams we just touch upon. To explore our world even further we have to go beyond what we know to find what don't know. I love the wy our imagination works. Set it free and can be limitless. Thank you for reading and sharing.

Wonderful poetic thoughts. My imagination often takes me on great flights of fancy and dreams do the rest.
