Experiencing The Halfmoon

Updated on November 10, 2012

Our dreams are

Like a half moon

Shining in the sky

Fading in and fading out

But I don't know why.

My vision is blocked

By this dark maze

I feel totally confused

In these constantly

Changing ways.

How far I want to fly

To find the other half

That lies beneath your heart

Only half is bright

Yet not to shine

For our start.

In time the stars

Will all explode

And shower us

With all the needed gleaming hope

We will sigh and sing

With a beautifully shining moon

Its hopeful glance will

Cause our hearts to swoon,

We will love throughout

The everlasting light

And strive for all our might.

But still it is just a Half moon

That you can not see.

Bring back the other half

A glowing,

And you will bring back

The best in me.

very sweet... the half moon, i always call the yin-yang moon, seems good and evil in us all battle so hard, that night of the month... i can relate to your poem very intimately.
