Extra-ordinary

Updated on June 27, 2014

What am I?

The exception of society in its entirety,

understandably misunderstood as

I am the work of a gifted artist.

Carefully scripted

by a hand seeking perfection.

In a position asking a question with no direction.

Answering I am,

a persistent sentence describing what is seen

as though perception is a state of existence.

The mirror image in a glass half full

but almost empty.

Simply viewed as being me.

Brilliantly written. You have become my favorite poet here on Hubpages.

I vote this poem up and interesting.

Simply profound, Daunte. A very introspective journey on a neverending quest. Brilliant!

What is important is the journey taken to a half empty glass so that it may be re-filled.;)
