Eyes of the Soul

Updated on December 15, 2010

If I look in to another’s eyes
The physical I do not see
It’s the soul that lies deep within
Looking always back at me

It says much more about itself
Than the words I often hear
Its says I’m you and you are me
Its just bodies we do not share

So how can I then judge another
Of what they say or do
For they are me and I am them
A soul that lives life too

Short, profound, sublime and an extremely exquisite poetry.

I have not found another writer to write like me. You came close with this poem. God Himself dwell in your loving Heart. Om Shanti!

Looking into someones eyes does give a glimpse into their soul.

Our eyes are a gateway to our soul for sure.

When looking into someones eyes you can feel their pain, or light radiates or it can be the darkest glimpse you've ever taken into one's soul. God bless you Penny!
