Faith the Mountain Mover (Poem)

Updated on September 18, 2013
Mountain be removed and cast into the sea
Mountain be removed and cast into the sea

Faith can seem like an elevator which goes up and down,

The moment you reach the threshold, and make your selection

The choice is yours,

Whether you choose to ascend or descend in your hopeful pursuits

Is really up to you,

The faith it takes only rises upward towards God, and

Practical application is the goal,

Circumstances are not supposed to defer hope!

Proverbs tells us that hope deferred can make the heart sick,

With the faith of mustard seed which is very small indeed,

You will shift atmospheres and environments,

You can say to the mountain,

Be removed and cast it into the sea,

Jesus said, that it will obey you, and

He is the King of all mountains!

No matter how insurmountable the problem seems to be,

It is still not bigger than God,

Faith is the key to unlock closed doors, it is the mover!

Speak to the circumstances which defy your trust in God, and

Declare to adversity the greatness of God and

Refrain from telling God how great the problem is,

Decree to the problem He is El Shaddai, the Almighty God,

For without faith it is impossible to please God,

Faith is the confidence you possess of the things hoped for, and

The evidence of things not seen

Don’t trust flesh it lives by sight,

For the just shall live by their own faith,

Faith is the mover!

Hi "PHILLYDREAMER" dark places are quite painful places to embark and anger is oftentimes waiting in the dark for a response. You seemed to have made it out with your faith. Writing is therapeutic and can be a channel we can utilize to express our feelings and put them in perspective so that we can move forward out of the dark into more light. You answered your question in your comment above that you sent me about the poem "Precious Treasures"

There are precious treasures that lie in the dark

Only through great sorrows can we embark,

Precious treasures hidden only to be found

Great truths so dear and so profound.

I can relate to this so much. I was in a very dark place a few years ago. I was angry at the world and I lost faith in everyone. I began writing my poetry and letting all the hopelessness out. The few grains of faith began to grow in me and I see things much differently now.

Good morning, "dellea" so glad to see you again for another hubisode. Be encouraged, some circumstances are designed and assigned to crush our hope and steal our joy, but it is all about Jesus and what He wrought for us on Calvary. He always causes us to triumph and we are overcomers because of Him. Be encouraged, you have the victory! Tell dirty doubt about the greatness of your God. Have a great day!

Good morning, "Ian" Wow! all the way from Papua New Guinea, that is rich. Congratulations on your writing successes. Faith is more of "a" principle of the universe. Everyone has a measure of faith. We as Christians direct ours towards God. It is our basis for seeking God, because the Scriptures encourages that it is impossible to please God without faith, He that comes to Him must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Until our next hubisode, have a good day!

Thank you mabelhenry! I let my circumstances crush my hope and joy way too often, and what you wrote here is very helpful! Amen!

This is so true. I believe in the works of the wondrous mind. Faith is not just a christian principle. It about everything in life..To know faith means to know how ones conscious and unconscious mind work.
