Family of Souls

Updated on January 24, 2012

Family of Souls

By Tony DeLorger © 2011

When souls cross paths,

and recognition transcends,

a respectable glance,

salutions expense.

Connections abound,

no reason is found,

just a knowing, a feeling

an experience is sound.

For these are our family,

across time and space,

souls that are kin,

no-one can replace.

No matter how foreign,

or now who they are,

their hearts are our knowing,

a history by far,

the contentment of identity,

the ceasing of fear,

in the hearts of true allies,

and the warmth being near.

When souls meet in present,

who have been there before,

the love it inspires

is alive evermore.

For we travel this journey,

alone but in hands,

of those that truly know us,

and whose love still commands.
