Faye's Poem: "Never Look Back"

Updated on September 10, 2013

"Faye's Poem: "Never Look Back"

If Lott told his wife to never look back, because it would curse her to death. Looking back isn't option if you want to live and move forward.
If Lott told his wife to never look back, because it would curse her to death. Looking back isn't option if you want to live and move forward.

"Faye's Poem :" Never Look Back"

Lot told his wife to never look back

Because looking back never solved anything and that's a true fact.

When you're trying to put your life back on the track.

Never ever look back.

when you have closed the door on life's bad acts and love is longer on track.

Never look back.

If we look back, we can't move forward, so let's make an unbreakable pact.

To never ever look back.

When you let them down easy, with love and tack.

Never ever look back.

although, your comfortable home was replace by a little shack

never ever look back.

Tell them quick, to hit the road Jack

But remember to never ever look back.

God wants us to grab the future and live for Him. Looking back will weaken you in your faith and hopes at times. The reason that Lot's wife turned back to Sodom, was that she was a lost woman, and saw only the material -- only the hear-and-now. Her mind was not on God, her sinfulness, or on the things of Eternity. She therefore was not afraid of God, because God was not in her thoughts. It was the physical, the sensual, the emotional pleasures of this world that she was after. She wanted sin, not God.

Look toward God and he will direct your path!!! GREAT HUB my friend! Voted-up! Luv ya!

      CO,

Words of wisdom are sprinkled all through your writing. The hard part is applying it--sometimes.

This is so true, I have made it a point since my walk with the Lord to not look back, it's too painful and besides - I am a new creature in Christ Jesus. Amen.

      Creativeone59,

This is true for it is a hard process most refuse to tackle. Looking back keeps some of us in uncomfortables places and we are often in denial about " it will soon get better", but we find that in many cases this is in fact not the cases at all. We just don't like to let go sometimes and it henders us.
