Stuck

Updated on August 10, 2010

Glued to the cold floor

I struggle to break free

Answers to my questions

Are lost as they can be

Solutions to the disgrace

Just can’t find their place

So the mud swallows me in

But there is hope

In this dark place

A rainstorm washes the mud away

A butterfly turns the gloom into a place of heavenly colors

Ideas and feelings start to come alive

Soon I'm stuck no more

Anything is possible

If you believe it to be

Unstuck yourself

And soon you’ll break free

Salt I acutally took this photo after a very severe storm here where I live. I'm glad you understood the symbolism of it in relation to my poem. take care

Love the cloud photo, I actually find clouds very uplifting. Fresh rain, clearing away whatever needs to shift from life.
