Finding Out Fun Facts

Updated on May 22, 2016

About Ourselves

With a little time on our hands

Let's dig into our greatest wonder

The life we broadcast daily

From our childhood to our teenage years

The history we have made

Those times we felt amazing when we were in sinc

We had a perfect ease

Then of course those times we dreaded

We were heading in the wrong direction

A collision course with life

Fighting and struggling often

It's way past our bedtime

Really late or early morning

We hold our eye lids open

Jist a little longer

Really seeing

Not the person who we want to be

Not even the person we think we are

The real me

Not hiding behind the door in fear

Not dressed up to flatter

The bare naked truth

The same person who has stopped at nothing

To help anyone who needs a lift

So we both can walk together

Side by side

To create more passion and the deepest love

Constantly caught in the act of doing

Seeing first hand

All our accomplishments lined up end to end

Can cover the globe

Easily as paint on a roller

Roll away in the name of progress

Stretching our imagination

Making our dreams vivid and clear

Nothing to be tweeted or posted

Just to enjoy fully

Each day in our own beautiful way

Nellieanna I am constantly dealing with changes that I did not expect or even anticipate. Each leading to a new adventure. I grab my magnifying class and telescope so I can see things up close and far,far away. In an attempt to better understand the world in which we live. Having fun and sometimes shocked, disgusted, confused and puzzled. Only to try one way and if that doesn't work try another. Learning to dream as I go. Thank you for reading and sharing.

      So true, Michael. It's wonderful.

This was what I was thinking while preparing my morning fruit. . . .

Reality. Reality is what one sees. If one sees a depressing, scenario, then that is his/her reality. If one sees joy and hope, then that is his/her reality. The externals are just props for one's own dramatic perspective.

Certainly some external scenarios have the capability to inspire more depression than joy or hope, and vice-versa, but the very same externals can BE either way for anyone experiencing and seeing them. It is all as real as it is received and seen for each person. And then it tends to 'follow suit' according to each person's view of it. We can rise to meet the light or sink to meet the dark. It all happens inside us. Reality is what we perceive it to be.

Nellieanna Each day we expand and grow. To a person we have only begun to know. Always changing and being better than the person we were. The way evolution works. Thank you for reading and sharing.

The entire saga of a life lived and being lived is amazing and wonderful, whether it's one's own or others' one observes. Somehow it is all inter-related, like a tapestry of LIFE itself.

      I really like your poem!

Gypsy Rose Lee It is easy to forget about how many things we have done in our life. By writing about different experiences as they happen we can see all our adventures. Thank you for reading and sharing. shells

Shanmarie There are wonder ways to keep our spirit and energy alive. Zooming in on the most important things that make us tick. Letting go of the things that hold us back. Enjoying the whole process. Thank you for seeing and believing in all things are possible.

Jodah In life we spend time on so many things and it is easy to lose ourselves in the process. When we are happy. Life will bloom not around us but inside of us. Thank you for reading and sharing.

I like this one a lot! It reminds me of thoughts I had the other day about how sometimes the feeling of accomplishment is so motivating even though it comes after something. Especially when it the most of other challenges or struggles. It doesn't have to be big, but it's especially great when the feeling comes from having done something that feels meaningful. For me, I hear so much of "you can't" that it motivates me to do. And I get so much blame places on me when things don't go.right that it's easy to blame myself even more. So these little moments of finding out, even creating, fun facts about myself are priceless.

This piece of yours is somehow relaxing to me.
