Reaching For Your Star

Source
Source

One enchanting invitation, and my Spirit melts.

The contours of Your silhouette dance before me,

And I reach out in my longing.

You caress my sweet emotions,

Deep within a yearning Heart,

Beckoning Thy Delight.

Come! Sweet Empress! Ignite this moment,

With a resplendent flame.

Let us embrace inside this garden of effulgence,

Bedecked in a garland of scarlet roses.

Let me hug You lingeringly... purposefully,

Until I’m steeped in the rhythms of Your rainbows,

Throbbing and pulsing a cascade of Light,

In the deepest recesses of Being.

A tornado of Bliss consumes me,

As one by one, I savour

The eruptions of glimmering rays,

Ceaselessly penetrating, a barely receptive vessel.

Now entangled, all speech diminish;

Only the Light of Love engulfs us.

Wet… silent droplets, run down my burning frame,

As we waltz on golden sunbeams,

With the grace-like elegance of a ballerina.

This magical moment, whirls me around

A spiral of deepest joy.

I’ve been given the keys to Your heavenly portals,

And for You I will sojourn,

Even beyond the Elysian sleep of death.

I see Your face … Ah! This heightened Gaze;

Such delirious Delight!

With hair standing on end and breath suspended,

Love now unlocks the gateways of my Soul;

We merge on the craters of an indigo moon,

Exploding into a thousand ecstasies,

Of now fulfilled dreams.

Yes, yes, I know he is reciting Rumi's poetry. I meant to say that I like reading Mr. Chopra's quotes and articles in general - he is quite influential and a great icon for today's generation.

I noticed my picture. Looks good. He he.

Oh yes, I like your magical weaving. Thank you... much. Have a wonderful day!

Emge, I'm so happy that you think so. Gratitude ...

      Surabhi,

First, this is Rumi's poetry. I don't see his name except where I put it, but I do not wish others to claim same. Actually, Deepak recites a lot of Rumi's work. Even so, credit is needed.

So you like my weaving, eh? Ha ha. Thank you so much for your soulful visit and contribution to my poem. Gratitude; respect; salutations ...

      Manatita... O Manatita,

I am simply smiling reading your loftiest poem. He he. Yep, versatility at its best, eh! I really admire the spiritual aura reflecting from this poem and especially liked Sri Chinmoy's picture. Your Guru ji's picture speaks a million words. Brilliant video of Deepak Chopra. I find his words and voice quite influential.

"And for You I will sojourn,

Even beyond the Elysian sleep of death" - Manatita

Very powerful and perhaps cosmic too. I am humbled by this dedication. You are a unique Soul. You belong to a unique era. That’s why I say Manatita is Manatita; simply beyond compare.

Well, The Flame Weaver knows how to weave sapphires, emeralds, topaz and pearls in order to make an invaluable garland. I also appreciate the comments by the fellow hubbers. How are the books going? Hope all is well, my friend.

Thank you very much for this lovely dedication. Love… Love… Love.

You see, Missy. Who says you're not perceptive. Since you are, then your inner Light is burning fine! Never worry.

My words are not romantic but between heaven and earth. I have made a covenant with an ascended realm of Light, and I pluck scarlet tulips from this special plane. I cascade them to Surabhi, and she makes garlands of diamonds and weave them around my blazing Heart. Isn't that cool? Hey hey.

Seriously, Sri Chinmoy (my Guruji) is my muse, preferably my Inner Pilot, and Surabhi, a willing instrument of His and my most ardent student and didiji. My profound Gratitude ...much.

      Bill,

So gracious of you! I thank you for saying this. You too, Bro, but you already know this, I'm sure. My best and loving wishes to Bev and all the family.

Frank, so kind of you and so generous. I treasure your Flash. Much Love.

Susie, so good to see you. Do not let others put you down. Continue ...continue ...

You see the beauty in my lines. What a noble Heart! God bless you, sweet sister. A great contribution from you and I treasure this very much. In Love and Light.

Wow. You truly are an amazing poet. You make words feel as good for me as when I look at a sunset or any part of the creation in general. I would love to have this talent with words, but all the great artists are there for the rest of us to cherish, whether it be Beethoven, David Bowie or Manatita.

      Mitchell,

You have my attention! I have been writing so long! I am going to Poetry Cafe this evening, and even there they do not speak like you! Only in Sufi circles, do I get this kind of praise. You could not see this without a Higher influence, and I also perceive, that you have read my Hub with soulfulness.

My Salutations, Dear Brother. Glory be!

Absolutely. Having a way with words is great, but being able to create and illustrate emotion through the creativity of not just exterior aestheticism in contemporary thought, but to elicit those emotions internally, through writing, emphasizes what is intended to be conveyed to the reader.
