Chivalrous Flirtation of a Knight in Haiku

Updated on April 26, 2012

Your pardon M'lady

Not combat we seek

just ways to communicate

combat sometimes works

With you, a flower serves

blushing all that we require

or else a thank you

tis old as Arthur

this play for favor, honor

gentle teasing too

Think me not weak, please

for prolonging this haiku

your amusement only

I bow to you fair gentlemen for your plaudits. A little haiku to Chivalry is always in order don't you think so?

      nor any thorn of deceit

      kind, Sir Jaggedfrost

JFrost-arise and be Knighted "Sir" (it will improve your first line too)*smiles*

      The Jaggedfrost bows

a rose to the crowd he throws

      chivalry exists

      outlasting the dragon myth

      around the table
