Floating Lamps Down The Ganges River

Updated on December 3, 2014

Anan is an online blogger and private consultant since 2009 in the areas of relationships and interfaith spirituality.

I have traveled across the ocean,

to reach your sacred shores.

My feet are bare and my hands eager

embracing a simple offering, my soul.

In it, my Gita is dedicated to you.

So it expands to the heavens,

were my faith ascends with it

in a perfect embrace.

The eternal flame of ages,

as a sacred vision of love

spills over the Ganges tonight.

So I bring my prayer and devotion

in a path of hidden lights.

Take my offering, my prayer

take it, before it falls apart.

hold it, hold it close

hold it, in your heart.

A desperate plea to accept her love; this is urgent and direct. I love it! Ann
