Fly to You: A Poem

It's one of those quiet, pseudo perfect days
There are clouds in the sky but at least they fluff like cotton candy
Remininscing on memories past does nothing but improve future ways
And thinking of you, my dear, only leads me towards feelings so handy
Smooth like silky seas, or better yet, smudged brown coffee
Tears rain down the cheeky clouds only to remind me of grace
Reaching endlessly towards your arms won't improve the looks of me
I know; I've tried to find comfort in the mind journey to your sweet face
I'm swearing that tingling electricity flows through your touch without a shock or sting
Your caresses I confess have got me transfixed, not only on you, but the feelings that ensue
Until I'll experience such caring and sharing again, I'll just ruminate on all your presence brings
The sky is happy even while clouds hide the sun, so I'll act contented yet imitate its blue
