For I am to be.

Updated on November 16, 2010

I feel myself in the clouds,

I drift in the wind,

I pulsate with every sound,

until all sound does end.

I feel the warmth of the sun,

the shade of the trees,

the howlings of the winds,

carried by the storm.

I am a part of all that is and all that could be,

all that I feel and all that I see.

I am the sounds of your heart.

I abide in the corner of your mind.

I can make my way into your dreams.

You will find me in your memory.

I will always be there waiting.

For I am to be.

~Laurie~

Thank you Saddlerider. Thank you for your promising words of kindness. I write from the inside of my soul, and poetry has always been words that I love to read, and love to scribble on blank pages.

I visited and joined your pages and find your poetry moving and awe-inspiring. It is a pleasure to "meet" you in the vast cyber world. I look forward to reading more of your art.

      Blessings,

      Laurie

THIS IS PROFOUND: "For I am to be."

Becoming is the purpose of life, I think. Hugs.

Profound words come from deep within, the place where the heart awaits to be let out to speak it words to many.

Very ominous presence conjured in this poem. I like the way we're taken on a quick voyage through time and space, sort of existing between the lines of reality for a few moments.

      Thank you Doug,

There are always moments that suspend in my poetry between reality and the darkness. I think because they are born in the moments of my life when I feel darkness the most.

      Blessings,

      Laurie

..well I love the yin and yang approach to your writing - you see both sides - the dark and the light - and all four seasons inbetween - riveting, intense and captivating!!!!

You are too kind Epigramman. I thank you for your words, words that you give me. There is always light in the darkness, and always darkness in light. The two are but a circle in life.

      Blessings,

      Laurie

@Ed-Thank you Dear Friend, it did bring me to a peaceful place of those caressing summer winds, just to be.
