"For Love is the Devil" by Eric Wayne Flynn

"For Love is the Devil"
For love is the devil
Who sleeps in a bed of lies...?
Kissing the cheek
Wrapped in scrawny red arms
Candy
Coated in blood
Sugary sweet with a fine pointy tail
Shimmying against my leg
Providing the heart and soul, so to keep warm
For the devil is love, it comes in many shapes and forms
It can be whatever you like
A hot lil girl or a stab in the back from a prick
For the devil has a sense of humor, he's hilarious, he is sick
He is swell
For the devil was just an angel who fell
Down because of all the brown nosing sycophants tugging on the robe
The decider of man's fate
The devil rather be left to his own devices
For so the devil wears a cape
A cloak of hot red skin
The claws sink, they dig in
The fabric of flesh
On a burning hot bed
Whispering
I love you so much
